Rev. Jeff Kane, Minister
We would be delighted to have you worship with us. If you are visiting Hot Springs Village or have moved here and are looking for a home church, you will be welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm.
Worship is at the heart of how we Presbyterians express our faith. As you will discover, we also gather together for fellowship, fun, food, education and service to those in need.
We invite you to participate in any or all that interests you. If you have questions or want to know more about Presbyterians and this congregation, feel free to contact me through the church office.
Reverand Kane's Story
Jeffrey L. Kane joined the staff at the Presbyterian Kirk in the Pines as Minister in May 2026. Rev. Kane is a life-long Presbyterian, and has served 9 diverse churches in California, Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Tennessee, and now Arkansas.
A native of Michigan, Jeff met his wife, Carol, while they were attending school at Alma College in Alma, MI. After completing a B.A in History, he went on to attend Duke Divinity School, where he earned a Master of Divinity. The Kanes have four children, the youngest of whom lives in Little Rock and is the Pastor and Head of Staff at Second Presbyterian Church of Little Rock.
Rev. Kane has served as solo Minister in his last 6 churches. His last church grew from 12 to 75 members during his tenure. The small church established a Grace House, a shelter for homeless families with children, created a food bank out of the church, and mentored youth at risk in conjunction with the local juvenile court system. These ministries speak to Jeff's strong commitment to mission and outreach. Carol is a partner in his ministry, but she has her own unique mission: training companion dogs. Carol trains future dogs for Canine Companions, a national organization founded by Peanuts creator Charles Schultz in 1975.
Look for Rev. Kane around the community. He will be doing some great things for Hot Springs Village and the surrounding area.
